Using your art to sort through the sticky nasty mess that are emotions is a very good way to deal with an issue. It might be a small problem in the grand scheme of things, but it's okay for it to be a big deal for you in there here and now.

It really is. I almost forgot how good an emotional outlet art can be, given how I don't usually have those kinds of issues to deal with and also the fact that I'm always drawing robots lol Looking back on this even just a few days after making it I realize how silly I was acting, but I am glad I did it. I think personifying my emotions helped me see how silly they really were.

Your emotions are valid, even if you can look back and decide that the issue was a silly thing to be upset over. Sometimes things feel like a much bigger deal in the moment than they really are, being able to let go of those negative emotions and move past the issue is what's important though.
