Description
Season 1 Episode 7 of The Powerpuff Legacy, the full story here is meant to be very humanizing. While this happens near the end of Season 1, it cut the line because today’s Singles Awareness Day.
Basically, The Golden Knight needs his girlfriend, and what cracks me up is that Fuzzy Lumpkins is his WINGMAN! (We can see a subtle detail that he's older with the slight loss of color in his...fur/hair/body coverage.)
We also get to see a bit of the MOM of the 3 New Powerpuffs, with a planned cameo of Johnny Bravo at the bar. And the story establishes the grown-up QUEEN Morbucks had sex with The Golden Knight because she wanted that Powerpuff blood, and he can’t say no to a woman wanting to get in bed with him. But she’s just as bratty as an adult as she was as a child, and he misplaced his faith in her for raising the born Princess Golden-Knight. It’s clearly established The Golden Knight is fine creating a biological legacy and continuing his bloodline, but with the bulk quantities of bad guys to beat GLOBALLY (he’s not confined to Townsville, or even USA), he’s not in a position to nurture and raise such kids like a typical father should.
Still, that's the earliest documented case of a "Golden-Knight" being brought into existence, meaning someone biologically descended from THE Golden Knight, First Guardian of the Powers! (Yet Powerpuff Legacy happens *BEFORE* Colony, so part of my focus as writer would be trying to iron out the LORE of Powerpuff mythology.)
The single most important detail of The Powerpuff Legacy is that it's the FIRST generation now! All the ORIGINAL cast have either grown up or grown old. All those Gen-Zero Powerpuffs are adults now; some of them have even had KIDS! But it never loses sight of the show's roots, blending silly with serious and blending cuteness with bulk quantities of ass kicking (Besides, the Brothers-in-Arms were basically "The Badass Boys". That's a legend for another day, I'm afraid. I'll give you a hint: it directly involves the origin story for The Golden Knight.)
It's not about Powerpuff GIRLS, it's about the Powerpuff *LEGACY!*
See you next time, and again, happy Singles Awareness Day!
