The Suit works pretty cool, but I thought that was a GL construct in the background. If its krypton I'd give him more of an actual planet vibe than Green Krystal, and if its Kryptonite (like a large chunk or something) Another option to avoid the "GL Construct look" might be to have it shattered. Possibly superman has just flew through it, being badass and unphased, finishing at the position he's in now, but the green kryptpnite shards are spread out all over the place.

No worries! Backgrounds are hard but the key element of getting to the next level. Artist who can create some great backgrounds/backdrops really are able to make their foreground objects *pop* big time!
