Just started re-playing ocarina of time on the 3DSAside from being a classic and one of the most famous games of all time, it inspired me to draw some fan art--so here you go.
This was a pencil sketch in my sketchbook that i colored in photoshop, all from my head no reference used

I grew up to Link to the Past and Ocarina of Time, so both of those hold a special place to me and based on that Ocarina of Time will most likely remain number one

Wind waker. I can't forget that moment when I first took out the sail, a feeling of freedom. Skyward Sword could have been my favourite. I was so excited to play it and then I found a lets-play of it before I bought the game...and I watched the entire thing. I spoiled myself the entire game XD So no magical memorable moments for me.

Yeah but it always starts like "oh just one episode..." then "oh that lets-player is so funny...just another one" and you end up watching the whole thing.

Ocarina of Time is my favorite! I also love Majora's Mask and almost all the others. I didn't like Phantom Hourglass much.

Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword are both my favourites, and no matter how many times I debate between the two of them, they always end up in an even tie! XD

Wind Waker is my favorite! The art is so fun and cartoony, the gameplay is super smooth, and the story is just fantastic. It's also the most nostalgic for me.

One does not simply choose a favorite Zelda game. A lot of people like Twilight Princess, which was a good game, but definately not my favorite because all of the dungeons were such a pain, especially the Lakebed Temple and the City in the Sky. In addition, it was by far the darkest Zelda game ever created. Seriously, I wasted thousands of Rupees on lantern oil alone I could barely see where I was going. Unlike a lot of people, I actually liked Wind Waker and Spirit Tracks (Never played Phantom Hourglass). I honestly liked the cute graphics. I'm going to be fair to the creators, a lot of people were freaked out by OoT and MM's E ratings despite everything in them, especially the well and Shadow Temple. Also, for WW and ST, I found the sailing, while tedious at times, to be quite enjoyable, but I always loved riding the rails. It could be relaxing at times, and the fact that Link has no personality, thus adapting the player's personality, made it all the more enjoyable if you feel like you were really there. Majora's Mask was really dark, but by no means a bad game. Overall it can be sad and at times scary if you get as pulled in as my sister and I do. It had its lighter and even funnier moments too though *coughDANCINGReDEADcough* Skyward Sword I haven't played much yet, part of the reason being how my brothers keep hogging the Wii (luckily for more Zelda games

wow what an answer! i have to agree with most of it, very nicely put. My fav was Majora's Mask which i might even argue is darker than TP....and the only other thing i might disagree on is the fact that ALOT of people liked windwaker, i personally loved it and cant wait for the HD remake...anyways thanks for such a great answer

All zelda's games are wonderful! (Hum, well, not really all... Just 3 games are really like poops, I think you know their titles...)
But if I must choose, I think Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask and Twilight Princess are my favorite! (for the moment...)

OoT is one of my favorites, but I'm really partial to Majora's Mask. I loved completing the Bomber's Journal and collecting the masks and finding all those lovely side stories. :3

Ocarina of Time N64 has always been a favourite!
I did like the gameplay of Wind Waker too, and the dark edge they put on Majora's Mask was a VERY nice touch, however I think Ocarina Of Time just has to be my #1 for the sentimental value of growing up with it.

Maybe you won't believe me, but having played all Zelda games, my favorites are Wind Waker, OoT and...Spirit Tracks! yeah, surprised myself with that one too. Don't like TP too much, it didn't feel alive, the characters didn't have charisma (even though they were beautifully designed) and didn't have that "Zelda vibe". I like it, but it's probably my leats favorite Zelda game after Zelda 2.
