Description Another Phidippus regius, an orange morph female. She's the tiniest one, also a juvenile. Before this molt, she was mostly black. Now she's all crazy awesome colored.

She has pink chelicerea, you'll see in the next photo.

And sorry the quality isn't better, I used my cell phone to take these. Mostly just to share a new and important hobby of mine.

What's she crawling on? How big are these beauties anyway? Your cell phone pics make them look so big! So cute! I love the frizz and crazy fire colors! So pretty~
Jumping spiders are the only spiders I've ever called 'cute' ^^

Thats the largest one I have right now, and he's not yet full grown.

The orangey one here is about half his size or smaller. She will probably grow to be bigger than him, though.

Wow! Bigger than I thought they'd be :3

So raising these little guys is your new hobby? What's it like?

I like that one. Are they your spideys or are they wild ones?

They were wild caught from Florida, but they now live with me in Washington State. But you can find Phidippus Audax just about everywhere in the U.S., or other members of the genus Phidippus like Johnsoni and Workmani.
