I am planning to cosplay Flowerfell Frisk this Halloween, but I don't know how I would do the flowers, as in, making them stay on my skin. It's kinda obvious you used a mask for your eyes but besides that, what did you use to stick the flowers on you skin on your arms and neck? Is there a special glue you used?

Spirit gum! It's very easy to apply, but you will need spirit gum remover to get it off. (otherwise, itll stay for a million years XD ) It's not expensive at all, can be purchased online or in most costume stores!

There are also youtube tutorials on how to apply and remove spirit gum, in case you need it. My recommendation would be to watch the Madeyewlook video, www.youtube.com/watch?v=ylyA7y⦠, in case you are confused on how it works.

So the thing about that is that you can't see with the flowers on, cause you aren't really supposed to. Moreover, I wear glasses, so if I were to actually adhere the flowers directly around my eyes, I wouldn't be able to use my glasses. Now, I'm blind as a bat, so I can't go around without glasses. Period. I just can't. But I wanted to obtain the full affect of the flowers covering my eyes. So I went out to a generic costume store in my area and bought one of those cheap $1 masks with a thin elastic band instead of a ribbon. And from there, I hot glued felt over the eye holes and then hot glued the individual flowers to the front of the mask so that they gave full coverage. I did that deliberately so that I can take off the mask and see when I'm at conventions, and then take five seconds to put the mask back on without having to worry about flowers being in the right/wrong place. And with the extra flowers on my cheeks and chin, it doesn't even look like I'm wearing the mask.
I am actually working on making a tutorial of how I made the mask so that others who deal with that issue can also make and wear them. And for those who want to be able to use a mask like that for cosplay, but don't have the time, skill, or materials to make them, I am actually selling custom masks for people who would like to use them to cosplay things like Flowerfell, or other similar costumes.Β
