I actually used the same method for their hair that I use for pretty much all my pictures - it's pretty quick and fun, and I'm really glad you think it's effective! The eyes were a bit different for me, so I'm also really glad you like them!

Aw, thanks! But I really wish I could do some of the more interesting aspects of the characters justice... as opposed to just quick sketches of cutesy fluffiness. (Not that I don't adore fluff!)

Schools been interesting... I think that the hardest thing right now is getting to know new people. I've learned so many names, and remembered maybe 1/50 of them.... And also, homework. I need to learn to do that again.

Hee, smirking Spike makes me happy. I hadn't thought of it that way... but I suppose that I (mostly subconsciously) intended it to highlight the motion and action of the sketch, so... pretty much, yeah. : ) Thank you, again! It's always so wonderful to hear from you!

You're welcome! Hmmyeah, I think I know what you mean there. We all have things we wish we could do with our art - but it's just so stubborn! I'm sure that if you got the motivation/inspiration and set your mind to it, though, that you could achieve that goal!

I can always dream, haha... But they just never seem to turn out... oh, well. I think a lot of people have the same issues as me, too... there's really not very much Spuffy art out there, even though it still has a very dedicated following.

It's a pretty big college... for me, it's huge, actually. There's something like 33,000 students, which is more than the population of my hometown. And it's a religious school, so it's really weird in that, for example, today my Computer Science teacher opened his lecture with a prayer.
So far the homework hasn't been too bad... but I have a procrastination problem that I need to get over. ^_^ And I fear that the homework, once it really starts, will build up a lot of momentum. Possibly causing me to loose control, crash, and get crushed under the weight of textbooks, papers, and laptop computers. This metaphor is really, really lacking. XD

Well... maybe not yet they haven't, but I'm sure you'll get there! Oh... yeah, I know what you mean. And I can't blame them, since I hate even doing crossovers with live-action characters.

Oh wow. I don't like big schools. I'm not sure how big my hometown is, but I went to a middle school that only had like 300 or so people INCLUDING staff. Of course all the other middle schools were huge, this one was just an exception, but still. Did you want to go to a religious school, or did you just happen to end up there? That certainly sounds interesting.
I can relate to that alright! Especially the fear! I've always hated writing papers. But I know what you mean. I think artists in particular worry about workloads because, for people who do their work and want to be successful, they worry that if they do all their work - they'll run out of time for art and whatever other creative outlets they like. I know I always get really depressed when I don't have time to dedicate myself to a theatre production. So yeah.
