"But the strange lion was scheming, and had a friend I didn't see"-----------------------
I know I have the snake lunging at the wrong eye, and the mark is on the wrong shoulder. The plan was to flip the image when I was done... but when I did it looked pretty weird so I opted for this instead.
Also this picture is pretty lazy and I'm not to proud of it but I'm tireeeddddd.
Another note, I feel like how they showed him getting his scar was pretty lame ngl.

Except that youtube video is merely fanfiction. A Tale of Two Brothers was never official content. It was only published with the consent of Disney. Just like many fan artists are able to make up stuff and get permission to sell it if they give a cut to Disney. Not as official work, but as fan made workΒ
The way this drawing shows (snake) is the official way Scar is stated to have got his scar by Disney. While it's possible sometime later down the track it could be retracted and The Lion Guard considered to be not canon to the main movies, right now it is the official reason for the scar.Β

He did actually. Scar just said it was a cobra because it's less humiliating than getting his scar from a common house cat.

I'm a big fan of "The Lion Guard" and really liked this story! It's VERY interesting, and it's terrific to finally know how Scar got his scar.

There's definitely gotta be more to it than just a simple scar. Considering that evil mark is a scar through an eye and we now know that strange lion, Scar AND Kion will have it...

It's not a bad way he got his scar, though judging by the venom flowing from the viper's fangs I wouldn't be surprised if this incident did more then just physical scarring, as perhaps the venom may have caused some psychological changes.

That seems pretty odd, seeing as the scar on Scar's left eye looks more like something that he'd get from a lion's claws than from a snake's fangs.
