Many times my work comes very spontaneously in the moment. In this case Duma and I went on a little road trip together to celebrate our new life together as a couple. I saw some dried sagebrush as we hiked through the desert and the idea came to me to fashion a headdress and crown from it. I always carry some scarves in my camera bag for play. We had thought about using copper and rope because it's a signature of mine now in many of the earth nudes that i do. So the basic elements were there and all I had to do was let my creativity run free. The pose was pure Duma - I had nothing to do with it. He was in his place of quiet fantasy and I just gave slight suggestions now and then but mostly just let him do what he felt in the moment to do.

This is even more beautiful than the close-shot. His pose is somehow as if he would fall, but also as if he dances. The body of the model appears very attractive and the cround and the minor cloth make it interesting to look at him.

Thanks Davide. It came about so spontaneously. Once the sage and copper and manila were in place Duma just seemed to know where to go and what to do. It was beautiful watching him and photographing him.
