I have a handful of vintage lenses- all with unique character. And a much lower price tag than the modern Sony glass. I find slowing down to take pictures is often a good thing, although I miss the speed when shooting an 'event'.

I have a collection of vintage lenses, on Sony they make it very well. When I go on a photo safari I bring both Pentax and Sony. This allows me to have the speed but also to make more meditative shots. However, the weight is considerable.
