Description
An hilarious abortion I made of mild steel to practice forming. The purple is my phone camera's unfiltered interpretaion of infrared. The real colour was a dark red. I'll probably discard this when I'm done but it's helpful to experiment with. If I do keep it (since I'm going all the way to finishing and adding a scale handle, making mistakes on cheap stuff), I'll not sharpen it and just make it a butterknife for SCA feasting.
