Description
My most recent art assignment, object poem was the topic...and this is mine...I used watercolors, watercolor pencils and colored pencils....I think it turned out ok, but there are a few spots I don't like...It just kind of reminded me of the idea forever, with the wedding ring on an old hand...

I really like the contrast of colours used for this. the original photo, while moving in and of itself, doesn't have this lively creative impact. Rather, the original has a sentimental reflection, whereas this, has lovely colours and really highlight the textures in the hand.

yeah, I guess now that's what a few people have said...and that wasn't my intent, but I guess it could work for the idea...like it's SO old that it's decaying. But yeah, that's what I like most about this is the colors. Thanks for your comments!

I like the colour you used in the painting, you definately were not shy, and it is great. I love the title and idea you came up with, brillant.
The pinky seems strong over-all, I think just too many dark shadowy wrinkles?

I don't mind using watercolor pencils...although I'm not very skilled with them...so I don't really know what I'm doing...and yeah...the pinky was kind of where I started so I wasn't real clear on what I was doing...so it didn't turn out as well...but thanks for the comments!!
