I really like the contrast of colours used for this. the original photo, while moving in and of itself, doesn't have this lively creative impact. Rather, the original has a sentimental reflection, whereas this, has lovely colours and really highlight the textures in the hand.

Lovely work, how did you like using water colour pencils? I've never had the oportunity to try them out.
I like the colour you used in the painting, you definately were not shy, and it is great. I love the title and idea you came up with, brillant.
The pinky seems strong over-all, I think just too many dark shadowy wrinkles?

I like how you used those colors. They give the impression of oldness. But the contrast with the ring makes it look like a small shiny remaining hope...
