Description Looking more and more worse for wear every time I stumble upon it, 121 is seen rolling briskly toward Zagreb's RWY 05 for another training mission. Flying unarmed on this occasion despite being part of the QRA pair (with its inboard AA-8 pylons still mounted), 121 is one of only two MiG-21s still flying in the Croatian Air Force, the rest having been sent off to the Ukraine for a major overhaul. Flying the past few days like there's no tomorrow - enjoying not an "Indian summer", but a more appropriate "Soviet summer" - this machine also represents one of the very last opportunities to see the old camo colors in action, with the rest of the fleet having been repainted into dull NATO Air Superiority Grey during overhaul...
