This is a little example drawing I made for the May Hero Challenge hosted by autodesk-sketchbook . The theme this month is "The Monster Under the Bed" where I'd like to see what sort of creatures artists think lurk under the bed.
I came up with this little Sock Rat who I imagine comes out at night to steal dirty socks if they are left on the floor with a particular preference for left socks.

Yes, in my area when I was a child I had some stories. There was also that story about creatures that steal socks or the socks that were forgotten and not taked to the laundry machine
