Description Welcome back everyone, better bundle up because we're heading up to the far north to meet the coolest dragon of all, the Frigid Frostmonger.

Wild: This unusual member of the Unknown class is famous for being a polar opposite among dragons, while others use heat, electricity and poison, this species is capable of generating instant cold. It primarily lives within polar regions and ice caves, they primarily eat fish, seals and small whales but will also eat terrestrial mammals like muskox and reindeer. They locate their prey by smell as well as detecting their heat signature, once they've picked up the trail, they can easily stalk without detection thanks to their pure white coat and lightweight bodies that don't sink in snow. Once they've found a target, they release bursts of a substance that causes ice to form on contact. This freezing compound can also cause symptoms similar to hypothermia including body temperature dropping, muddled senses, reflexes slowing, occasional hallucinations, all ending with "The Big Chill". Once the prey is subdued, it delivers the final blow with its muscular jaws and then proceeds to dismembering it with its teeth and claws. Whatever it doesn't eat, it will bring back to its lair either to feed it young or to store it for later, when feeding becomes harder. It will at times go into periods of hibernation until temperatures rise and prey becomes more plentiful, the longest recorded hibernation was just over 8 months.

Training
: If you wish to attempt training this beast, your best option is to wait until their away from their lair and then hiding in deep snow to mask you heat signature. They have trouble seeing directly behind them, so its best to engage capture devices from behind. Once captured, it would be wise to keep it in its preferred environment: a cozy little nook surrounded by ice. Providing a regular supply of meat will help maintain their health, but you must remember to allow them to hibernate for some time during winter, otherwise they become restless, moody and sometimes highly aggressive. When trust is properly made, these beasts become very helpful in protecting northern tribes and villages. Their sense of smell and thermal vision make them ideal hunting partners and their shed skins make for excellent cold weather protection for clothing, housing and other dragon garments/saddles. Remember to make sure they stay at a stable temperature, too high and they become agitated and aggressive, too low and they'll become sluggish until they hibernate.
