Sometimes I imagine something similar, but a different end to the episode the disaster, they instead of going to void they go to the past by accident (more or less for half of the second season) and then they hit the car in which the Gumball family and the gumball itself are only in the past, and wattersons (from the past) watched the fight of the two, until then gumball (who was fighting with rob) takes control and sends rob to the void, and Explains that he is from the future and then he explains the whole situation and returns to the present, fixes everything and the series returns to normal
