Brenden is an ordinary boy with an extraordinary destiny. He is an avid reader of fantasy books, but he never imagined that he would become a hero in a story himself. That all changes when his missing father gifts him with a mysterious key, the key to the door that holds the key to Athos' immortality.
Despite his fear and uncertainty, Brenden is determined to do what it takes to stop Athos. He must journey deep into the heart of Eostrannan - a world beyond mirrors, facing countless dangers and obstacles along the way. But with the key in his possession, Brenden knows that he has a chance to strike a decisive blow against Athos and end his reign of terror once and for all.
