You know, quite honestly, I usually don't like this kind of anthropomorphising with the Mane 6. However, here I must make an exception. This is, without a doubt not only the best MLPony-Anthro I've seen, but the best Horse Anthro I've ever seen. Everyone (Except Twilight) is dressed in a manner I would imagine them as being dressed as. (Twi would look more studious, and less model) Also, I enjou how you did the eyes, as it is both a different style and a fitting one too. Also, you are the first person I've seen have something around everyone's wrists, and each of them fit in their own way. I especially like AJ and PP's gloves. Clean, fun, and with a good background, you deserve all the positive credit you recieve. You really deserve the 4.625 avg. stars and a 20% cooler remark. Well done!

this is a very unique peice of art.
I love there poses, which creates another look of there personality.
I honestly love RainbowDash's look, which creates a tomboy look (Like me e.deviantart.net/emoticons/let… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Lick)"/>)
Besides RD, I love AppleJAck. HEr hardworking personality comes out with her amazing outfit, and she has an adorable pose. I love how she spreads here feet from eachother.
while the others, are very beaufiful.
Pinky Pie is too adorable, with that pose and her over-girly outfit e.deviantart.net/emoticons/let… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Lick)"/> I just love this
Twilight sparkle is very unique, like a nother critique has said. She has a moody, yet calm and relaxed look. Her pose is relaxed and you kept it simple. Her outfit is unique, but very simple.
Rarirty has an elegant and sophisticated look, in her pose, look, and outfit. With her hair-do: Curly at the ends, simple yet extravagent.
I love this. It brings out the characteristics of all six of 'em.
I love how you made everything stand out with the unique white and gray backround, with the reflection at there feet.
I am very much inspired by you're work, it shows a unique side of the characters.
There are a one or two errors: RainbowDash's calves are bigger the her thighs. Another critique has stated that, and I agree how her shows are a little confusing, and that was stated by the same critique too.
I love this, and I give it a 9/10 ☺

This is a very appealing piece of art.
The poses of the ponies are very well done and go in conjucture with their personality. For Twilight Sparkle she has a simple, intellectual, and nice looking pose and the smile ties it off with her being confident and nicely leaving an impression that is like her personality. Her hand on her hip shows relaxation, which I find ironic. Her clothes are the most unique at of all of the ponies. And adding an armband was a nice twist, making her unique. Also the use of geometric figures, and utilizing her colors make her outfit original and "spunky".
Rarity has a sophisticated, simple, refined look. The way her face was finished shows almost a look of a queen, which comes to mind all of the qualities of a queen including beauty and confidence. This does go nicely with her dream or cutie mark. Also if you look at the top of her dress it has a similar design to a Chinese dress, which is very unique because of that and the combination of the royal purple color that is her trimming at the end of her dress.
Pinky Pie has a nice care-free attitude, which goes along with her pose. The pose does have a slight childish aspect, which goes with her personality. If you also compare her clothes they are most likely similar to kids clothing. The way that the hands were done also help subtle hint the aspect of a child that she has. And you can also speculate that since she is the only that has her mouth wide open it adds to the likeness of a child, and she is also staggered. This might show something, or I;m over thinking this.
Apple Jack is a stubborn and sincere friend. Strong and devoted. Her costume resembles a cowgirl, but she pulls her weight around just like any one. Her get it down attitude is portrayed well in her facial expression and her hands. Her Costume is well done. The combination of shorts and chaffs, in my mind, show her girly qualities and her family ties to her farm. And the fact that she wears gloves is visually appealing in this work, and the fringes that were added to her poncho, gloves, and chaffs give her even more presence.
Fluttershy is very shy, hence her name. She is a kind, gentle spirit with a nice almost fragile state of mind and heart. The dress showed her feminine "touch". Also since her wings are down it somewhat shows her kind nature/intent. One detail that makes her dress unique is the fact that it is rounded at the top which compliments her sleeves, which is similar to a sweater. Her style is simple, clean, cute, and sensitive. Also the position of her hands are very well done, and slightly more detail than the other ponies. Her pink flats compliments her dress nicely. Her facial expression also give a very nice perception of Fluttershy's personality with raised eyebrows and a small open mouth.
Rainbow Dash's pose is excellent in showing her confidence, and tom-boyish nature. The sly smile, her pointed finger, ears facing backwards, wings open and backward facing, and downward facing eyebrows show an expression of challenging others, in a fun and competitive way. Her arms crossed also shows her tom boy aspect by showing the somewhat closed nature of one. Her mane seems like there is a blowing wind, which give her presence. Wristbands show of her sporty side, and the neutral color chosen for it goes nicely with the entire outfit. I am not sure if she is wearing pants also, or her calves are slightly bigger than her thighs, but it is a tad confusing. Also her sneakers confuse me, because of the white line above them I can't make heads or tails of the bottom of her body.
All of these ideas of clothing for each character is unique and well developed, and includes their cutie marks which is almost essential.
Each of their hair is nicely done. Twilight Sparkle's stays consistent with her original concept, and by that I mean that it is somewhat "encircles" the shape of her face.
Rarity's hair, in this picture, utilizes two different colors, making it appealing to the eyes. The shape her hair in this drawing is consistent with her original, even though it is the tiniest bit oddly shaped behind her.
Pinky Pie's is nicely done. It stays with original, but has its' own twist which I enjoy. Pinky Pie's hair originally has that "curve" or "bump" in the front, but you have made it curly like bubble gum. Also her hair is longer which gives her even more presence.
Apple Jack's hair is nicely done too. It was always imagined that her hair was almost "bushy", resembling her work ethnic. Her bangs are well done too. Also her hair attracts attention because it doesn't look like a "cylinder". Instead you make it look like an "ice cream", and excuse me for using so many things in quotations.
Fluttershy, just like Apple Jack, doesn't have just this kind of hair. Her hair is done nicely attracting eyes because of the subtle changes, making it look nice and appealing.
Rainbow Dash's hair is well done. Not only what was previously mentioned about her hair, but also the sharpness of the ends look well done and gives her a certain aura. Something else to note is the fact that her tail is the only tail that is partly in front of her. Her tail also looks full, and the fact that the color of her tail are the colors of the rainbow it makes her pop.
The coloring overall is great. You never used black or dark tones. No in this case I do not consider the grey to be dark. The colors of all of the ponies are consistent, and well organized. The shading is fair. The only part that is a little troubling is the shape and coloring of the indent in Apple Jacks chaffs. Although it is clear that she is standing upright the shading makes it look like her knees are outwards. Making it look like she's unbalanced, unstable, or about to fall.
The background is simple and versatile making it a nice and unique background. Also having waves/curves in the background makes it look almost calm, plus since they are in different colors it makes it noticeable enough to recognize the technique, but doesn't overpowering any of the focus of the art.One more thing that I personally liked the most was the floor. You made a cool mirror image of the ponies feet and it was blurred too. That added effect was pretty cool.
Your antro style is impressive and the originality is
irresistible. It was wonderful to critique this work. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)"/>

After happening across this through someone else's faves, I just kinda fell in love with it.
Favorite things:
1. Twilight's dress. The design for her outfit is just lovely.
2. Rarity's dress. Gorgeous and slinky. Perfect. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Big Grin)"/>
3. Applejack's chaps. They're just a perfect choice for her character and pose.
Things I'm iffy on:
1. Fluttershy's outfit. While you've got the character down perfectly in her pose, I'm not necessarily digging the dress. The other ponies' outfits, aside from Rarity's, include distinctly different colors from their bodies. Fluttershy's hands, because they're over her body and the exact same color as the dress get lost in the image. The matching colors works on Rarity because she's got the bracelets to break things up and her arm's off to the side, but Fluttershy's just kinda a little too much amorphous yellow there. Maybe some pale pink or light blue (like the butterflies bodies) cuffs for her sleeves would do the trick.
2. Rainbow's top. While I'm certainly not a prude about humanized ponies in clothing, I think Rainbow's top is entirely too short. It gets lost with her wristbands since everything there's the same color, and because it doesn't go down her torso further, it leads to a moment of, "Wait, does RD have a top on?" I think either a color change in the top and/or wristbands, maybe something to match her shorts, or adding more shirt below her arms, while keeping her midriff bare, would be a wise choice.
Aside from those two little things, I think that this is an absolutely gorgeous piece of fanart. Wonderful job, extvia!

I think you really took your time working on the outfits and accessories on this one. Each outfit describes the characters so well. School, glamor, party-fun, rodeo, dainty, and sporty. Rainbow Dash's shoes are super cool 8)
Originality:
Again, I think you took the time to show off each character's personality effectively. Pinkie Pie is probably my favorite, being so animated. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)"/> The expressions are great. I especially like the eyes and ears. Only thing I see is that Rainbow Dash's ear looks different than every other character's. The wings on Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash are of a really good design. The poses in general seem to flow perfectly. Only think I might change slightly is Fluttershy's pose; maybe hiding behind some of her hair or a hand to make her seem shy.
Technique:
I love the style you've chosen. I know of only a few artists that can pull it off as good as this. The one thing I would mention is that it sometimes looks like it bends sharp-like into the color. I don't know if that's your specific style, but it makes it seem block-ier. And the only shading I see that might need some changing is on Apple Jack's outfit; it blends in a bit too much. I suggest using a slightly darker shading color. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)"/>
Impact:
I love the concept; the colors in general are great. The background is also really good, but there might need to be a slight shadowing under the characters. Perhaps a really faint grey that is transparent.
I haven't seen many anthro pictures that are as well depicted as this one, you did a very good job. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)"/>
Art is personal, and is emotionally a part of you. Some people just don't understand that *shrug*.

Vision: There are two ways I could judge your artistic vision.
The first would be to assume that these are intended to be done in the style of your android drawings, and that your intention was to render the main cast of My Little Pony in that style.
The second would be to assume that it is a simple anthropomorphization of the main cast.
In the former case, I can not judge reliably. I am not (personally) overly fond of your android drawings, but it is clear from your pageviews and watchlist that others are. Assuming this was your intention, then you certainly did a few things right: The mechanical design of the wings on Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash aid in the illusion, and Twilight and Rarity's horns portray a more sterile feeling than the show-accurate design. Another nice touch (assuming this was your intent): Rarity's bracelets. They bring a more "futuristic" vibe to the piece. That said, the bodies of the cast feel too organically constructed. I'd believe them to be augmented humans (or at least augmented organics). Not 100% artificial.
If it is the latter case, you succeeded... But not by as much. The sterile feelings mentioned before are a detriment under this interpretation, not a benefit, and the organic feeling of the piece is the only saving grace.
This is okay when regarded as an "anthro" piece. It's better when viewed as an "android" piece, but not by much. Half of it feels like one drawing, the other half feels like another drawing.
Originality: If I had a nickle for every drawing of the main cast from MLP that I've seen... I'd have a lot of nickles. Maybe not enough to pay off my college tuition, but I bet I could pay off the interest on my loans, at the very least.
The point is: This isn't an original premise in the least. Humanization/anthropomorphization of the main cast is incrementally more original, but still: Not by much.
I suppose that, assuming the cast is meant to be "androidified" (for lack of a better word) in this image, I can give you points for originality. I can't claim to have seen many robotic versions of the ponies. I've seen a couple dozen, but in terms of pony art, that's not much.
The originality of using a robotic main cast is balanced out by the unoriginal background. When the art itself is not minimalistic, the background shouldn't be. Minimalistic backgrounds only belong with minimalistic art. This art is not minimalistic, and as a result, the background doesn't feel "stylistically sparse". It feels lazy.
This last point is personal preference, but: I feel that representing each character's "personality" through their pose is a bit overdone, especially in the manner you chose here. Each of the ponies has multiple facets to their personality. Why do they always choose the same ones to represent? Fluttershy isn't just shy, she's also fiercely protective of her friends (For reference, watch the episode "Dragonshy"). Rainbow Dash isn't just boastful, she also feels pressured to live up to an ideal she's set for herself (see "Sonic Rainboom"). Sure, you can show Fluttershy as lifting her hand up to cover her face, like a shy person would. Or you could draw her as moving to put herself between the observer and one of the other ponies, showing that she's trying to protect them. Both represent her core personality, but we see one of them a lot more often.
(Also, though this is a minor grievance: Fluttershy in a sundress is extremely overdone. It's always either a sundress or a sweater. Doesn't she own any t-shirts?)
Technique: I suppose this is drawn well enough. I'll try to keep this section brief, as this is a very anime-esque style of art, and I am not a fan of most anime. That said, there are a few points that are not stylistic, and I feel comfortable judging.
The eyes on these characters are uncomfortably large. I've seen anime with small-eyed characters, it's not stylistic. I've also seen chibi artwork, and these drawings do not fit the profile for chibi art. (Also, assuming these were meant to be "android"s, those eyes are far too big. Androids are supposed to be modeled after the human form, and humans do not have eyes that large.)
The outlines of the artwork are a nice touch for the show's style, but don't mesh well with the art itself (in my opinion). I feel that the work would look better if it were outlined more traditionally, using black linework.
It's a nice touch placing each pony's cutie mark on the thigh, mimicking the placement of the cutie marks in the show. That said, I feel like it would have fit better to have them on their skin, rather than their clothing (though this may not have meshed with the designs you had in mind for their clothing). A minor grievance: There's no apparent pattern to which side of their body the mark is on. In-show, it's on both sides, but I can understand ignoring that. If you intend to ignore that trend, though, please be consistent in your placement.
There's no consistency to their ears. Pinkie's ears look like they belong on a teddy bear, Dash's belong to an elf, AJ has some from a mule, Twilight's were stolen from a horse with a head three times her size... Only Rarity and Fluttershy have ears that look at all right.
Impact: DA's standard for what to judge impact by is listed as:"Does the artwork resonate with you or evoke strong emotions? Does it make you think? Does it blow your mind?"...I can't, in all honesty, answer any of those with a resounding "yes". I suppose that it stimulated me to write this critique, which in turn helped inspire me to write for the first time in a while. But beyond that... This didn't resonate with me or "blow my mind". It's... Just a couple of ponies.

Given the fact I'm a MLP fan from the second generation on, It will be a little more biased than most people of /liking/ I supposed.
But lets begin:
Your vision of each of them as "anthro" or "humanistic"/ "humanesque" characters is fantastic. More unique than most people I've seen trying to make them like this;
How ever, I do feel that there are a few points that take away from it;
I got confused when if first looked at Rainbow Dash's legs, i thought she had pants on then i had to look up close; applejack's spread is a bit awkward and looks as though she's about to fall forward, and I cannot seem to see the other part of rarity's bracelet [maybe that's just me].
on the other hand;
Twilight has a genuine twilight pose, I suppose you could say. While in that position I see her quoting one of her astrological books; Rarity always beautiful showing off her mane yet still elegant enough to be a lady.
The lovely Pinkie Pie! Always a pleasure to see her looking happy instead of Pinkamena crazy! [Don't take me wrong it's lovely too/amusing.] - Her expression/pose reminds me of Bubbles from "Demashita! Powerpuff Girls Z!" -
Applejack always ready to work; looks a little bit awkward with her legs, but still as steady as ever, props on the hat - her hat always gives me trouble.
Sweet and shy Fluttershy. You gave her a genuine caring expression with out allowing her to look too "upset" or "too embarrassed" - caring and soft as it should be. And the expression in her wings and tail also show her gentle spirit.
Then of course the ever Vain/egocentric Rainbow Dash, confidant as ever. - Still got confused on her legs/feet/pants/shoes a bit, but it looks lovely. I love how she has the flair in her tail as she does with her attitude in this picture here.
My full critique;
Give something in the background, the lack of colour just totally blows the entire thing away;
Splash of each of their Cutie marks, sonic rainboom, or something would liven this up and make it 5/5 stars for me!
Over all;
Wonderful job! Still is going to be my desktop!

=extvia has always been pretty well known for his amazing style of drawing premium anthro-based art, and this masterpiece shows no different in his aspects of delivering sheer perfection once again.
As far as the originality goes, it's most definitely a top notch. You kept your style, using your own technique to show us a very unique version of anthro MLP. Most other anthro art seem to revolve around the human look, but this one still keeps the pony aspects to it, which I find very rare for some reason.
You also seemed to get their personalities right. Pinkie Pie seems to be squealing excitedly, Rainbow Dash is in a "hell yeah" stance, and even Fluttershy herself is a little hesitant of looking at us viewers.
There really isn't anything to complain about, but if anything, it looks almost as if Rainbow Dash were just a tad too much to the right of Fluttershy. It almost looks like she were trying to walk away from them all, but it could just be me.
Throughout the MLP craze, a lot of very famous and talented artists here on dA have eventually posted some of their own contributions to the show, and while most of them are indeed great, I think it's safe to say that this particular piece is by far one of the best. Very well done, =extvia . e.deviantart.net/emoticons/t/t… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title="Thumbs Up"/>

Hi again!
And another great piece of art
you have done! Thank you for showing
the world how beautiful they are in
your own form and style!
First off, their clothes fit them not
only physically and aesthetically,
but each owns characteristic!
Starting with Twilight, her look
had dramatically been remade from
the original! Her body language shows
a more out-going and livelier Twilight
than we've seen in My Little Pony:
Friendship is Magic!
Rarity, the glamour and sophistication!
Just glancing upon her slender figure,
I can picture a singer in an opera house.
Or, a female fashion designer with the
professionalism of years in the practice!
But I choose to view her here as a singer.
It fits her perfectly!
Pinkie Pie! What is a party without Pinkie?
The first of the only two ponies wearing
rubber shoes! Her gear, as I will describe
their clothing, fits her physical activity
including breaking the fourth wall almost
every time she moves! And I love her wrist
braces, a nice touch to her already complete
outfit for a party!
Why Applejack in the center?
BECAUSE SHE IS 20% COOL
But Rainbowdash beats her in coolness.
Back to Applejack, her outfit is true
cowgirl style and old western gear!
Her cute face showing energetic, I'm- ready-
when-you're-ready attitude on it!
And she looks ready to go buckin' apples!
Oh, Fluttershy! Why so shy?
Her fragile pose is so cute, just staring
at her would be ultimately rude if done!
And her soft yellow complexion?
*sigh*~
RAINBOWDASH IN RACING SHOES?
The world's gonna stop if she flies with it!
Her runner short is awesome! I'd love to
wear one of those in my runs! Albeit too
tight for me, hahaha! Not only is her color
that makes her every bronies waifu,
but the simple fact her angelic face
is paired with a sporty temperament!
And the wings, I noticed.
They are cleverly designed to not only
function, but the originality is kept as well!
It has that oriental look, yet sci-fi wise!
~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~
That ends my critique!
I hope it bolsters your inspiration
to do more ponies!
