Very nice! For a wild, feral child raised by apes, why has Tarzan always been clean shaved? And I love the leopard pelt, it makes me think of Heracles and his lion skin. Awesome!

In the book he thinks that having facial hair associates him with the apes, and he considers himself to be above them. So he shaves it off with an old knife that used to belong to his father (although he doesn't know that at the time). He also cuts his hair short, too.

I love the way you use textures- they're striking and attractive but they don't distract at all from Tarzan himself

I just don't see why he WOULDN'T have one, you know? He's a wild-man! He learns to shave at some point in the books, but I doubt he always keeps himself perfectly clean-shaven.

Love the colours, such a great comibnation of dark and bright colours- they create a great atmosphere. I also really like the faded details in the background, like the faint waterfall. Great picture!

oooh. i havent seen a tarzan fanart. this is my first, and wow. that is just so pretty i like his face. in the movie i always thought that they made it too long and narrow, but your version is much much better.

I love the Disney film--they animation and the style for Tarzan's character is so amazing. He's definitely hot XD. I really like the dreads and just the way they draw him, and likewise, the way you drew him. It would have made more sense for him to have facial hair, what with him being a wild man and never having the opportunity, know-how or reason to shave XD. This is really beautiful, I love the colours and the hint of the waterfall in the background. Your art is really amazing <3.

I love thisss, I was at the show tonight and this one really caught my eye before all of the others. It's such an interesting use of colors, that shocking pink with the nice cool tones in the foreground. It's such an interesting choice for this piece and I love it. All of your work for the thesis is justttt amazing. <3 The leopard skin is a great touch too.
