Description
So, The Eternals (which I really enjoyed) got me thinking back to when I was a kid, when Chariots of the Gods was part of the pop cultural dialogue. What would the arrival of a celestial overlord look like? As all of you should know by now, I love Jack Kirby's version of events and while the original source material was adjacent to Erich von Daniken's breathless hysterics, I'm still intrigued by what that event might look like, along with being smitten with the visuals of biblically accurate angels and not just simply being radiantly beautiful humanoids awash in twinkling starlight. So me and my modest imagination went the Middle East before the time of Christ and got lucky with a diety's arrival. Not so lucky for unfortunate locals nearby. Gods flex, cities flatten. This was one of those not sure where I'm going but I'll know it when I get there exercises.
