Description
This is my first artwork on the field of Vaporwave Aesthetic. The main subject is the marble statue named Dornauszieher, sculpted by Gustav Heinrich Eberlein in 1886. I've reinterpreted it in an onirical and psichedelical way, by adding special effects like chromatic aberration and a background that fades from purple to blue. Due to his dreamy expression, i've decided to put in his head a "dream machine", that is not exactly an advanced device but a colander, as satirical message against the hyper consumistic mentality.
