This is really cool.  I enjoy the sort of Iconic treatment with the halo/nimbus.  I also wonder if there's a Hermetic component with the blood trailing down and then appearing from above, in an "as above/so below" fashion.

Thank you very much for the thoughtful comment! I did reference liturgical imagery but your interpretation of the "as above/so below" is great. I'm not that well-versed in theology so thanks, I've learnt something new today.

I was about to quit, I don't know... I get very discouraged when my drawings show so little progress... I've been told quite a few times that I'm hopeless and that I should trying, but it's the only thing I'm passionate about

I'm always sad to hear people quitting art because they're told that they're hopeless. You are definitely not hopeless and you definitely should keep drawing. I thought I was hopeless at art before 18 but after I started working seriously on it I got better. You definitely will too, hard work always beats talent.
