Everyone in the village knew about the Big Red Oni that lived in the cave over the hill. Over the years he raided their farms and stole their animals and even took some of their lives. He would sit in his cave, smoking and drinking stolen sake all day and night. One day he stumbled into town and stole the children's kitty cat. The children of the town were devastated because they knew the Oni would eat the cat and nobody could do anything about it. They cried and asked the parents to help but no one was foolish enough to confront the Oni. A lone samurai dressed in white heard the children crying while he was walking through the village. He was no bigger than the children and his sword was almost as big as he was!The little samurai told the children he would retrieve the stolen cat and take care of the pesky Oni. The older villagers laughed as he headed toward his certain doom...The little samurai came upon the cave where the Oni lived. The Big Red Oni was leaning on his spiked club smoking his pipe getting ready to cook the cat. The brave little samurai confronted the drunken Oni and told him to return the cat. The Oni laughed,"HA,HA,HA! Looks like you are going to be my lunch for the day as well!" He grabbed his club and swung at the samurai but as he did the brave little samurai leapt into the air with his katana...
