When I first saw "Marks and Recreation" in Season 7 when it aired, I was immediately smitten by Kettle Corn and I just had to have that tender little filly in my stable. She was sooooo pretty with her poofy mane and tail and her little bows! This was a new and never before seen earth pony filly and she was sooooo cute and full of life. She was literally the focus of my attention in the episode.

I wanted her, but who would make her? Her mane and tail looked very difficult to pattern and I wanted her as show accurate as possible. I scanned through the available artists in my head and decided to wait. Fast forward more than a year later and I still want this filly so badly so I began the hunt in earnest to have her created. No plushies existed of her which surprised me with how pretty and likable she was.

One artist kept surfacing in my hunt. All of her plushies are so pretty and I had been watching her continue to improve and her latest creations looked very promising and so very lovely. had begun to start taking commission rounds and I decided this was the artist who should make Kettle Corn. The 45 inch size she offered was perfect for a life size filly. I had a really good feeling about this artist. It was her or nothing. I expressed interest in a commission from her and when the 2nd round of commissions opened up, I went for it. I sent her a long note of which pony I wanted and the exact details I desired and how she should look. She accepted my commission and what resulted was a textbook perfect plushie commision and a gorgeous plushie which will most likely be one of the best plushies I will ever own.

Through out the duration of the commission, asked for my approval during every step of Kettle Corn's creation. I was involved in every single detail that went in to making her. We went over her eyes, which colors of minky fabric for her body and mane/tail, the exact style of bows in her mane/tail, iris highlights, her 3D lashes. I specifically wanted her as a blank flank. Probably the hardest choice in making her was trying to decide which shade of minky fabric to choose for her body. This was really tough and after looking at a lot of pictures I decided on "sunshine" and I love how it turned out. My heart really got to racing when I was shown WIP's of her mane. It was a real rush to see her coming together and her mane looked so well done. I was blown away when I received her finished pics. When I clicked on that stash link, my eyes widened and my jaw hit the fucking floor.

This was Kettle Corn and I could not have been happier with what I was seeing. I was astounded on how good she looked from the head on view. This plushie looks amazing from all angles. Her head on view is soooooooo cute!!!!!! Her poofy fluffy mane and tail!!!!!! I could not believe how good she looked. I just stared at those pics and thought back to when I first saw that episode when I was thinking I would most likely not be able to get a plushie of her and here she was looking like she came directly from Equestria.

Kettle Corn arrived 13 days after being sent. She was packaged very well protected and, as fucking usual, I was not able to unbox her until late at night after her arrival.

The first thing I noticed straight away when unboxing her, besides her looking absofuckinglutely amazing, was how soft she was. This plushie is so soft......SO FUCKING SOFT AND CUDDLYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When I first hugged her, the horrors of life on this toilet earth immediately vanished and this calming/soothing feeling blanketed me. Kettle Corn is so soft and cuddly and tender. Her mane and tail are gorgeous. Her expression is soooo happy and full of life. The stance of her body and neck length are ideal for sleeping and cuddling much like my Starlight from and Lily Valley from . When I sleep with her on top, her head is resting on her forelegs and her face is very close to mine and she is looking right at me. I am humbled at just how good this plushie commission turned out. I am so very satisified with my life size Kettle Corn and I could not be happier with her. I am beyond 100% satisfied with this plushie commission.
