Sazae Oni are an aquatic, shelled, Yokai that are found throughout the surrounding seas, oceans and coastlines of Japan. A monstrous sight in the the day, the true power of the Sazae Oni appears under moonlit nights. The Sazae Oni will preform dazzling bioluminescent displays and dances as a means to lure prey as well as mates.
Opportunistic feeders the Sazae Oni will feed on wayward seafarers.
