I see that you don't believe most people in the comments, but I'm a professional artist with an art school degree, so I hope you will listen to me.
The eye you drew here is, in fact, much better than the eyes you draw in most of your drawings. At least as a sketch-I have no idea how you'd execute it in an illustration. It's much more proportional, and the small, central highlight brings the attention to the middle of the eye-where you want the attention to be. Furthermore, the eyelashes with their middles erased gives enough detail to keep the attention in the eye. So yes, this is technically speaking, a really good eye.
