Ursula + Tasmanian Devil

“Life’s full of tough choices, isn’t it?”

An odd outlier among the Tasmanian Devils, many would call her a witch, others would say she is a last chance for those desperately in want of something. Stowed away in her little cave right by the ocean, she spends her days hidden away. Some nearby have seen light with frightening shadows and booms dancing across the walls, others claim to see spirits and ghosts languishing and begging for release from the seaweed and other flora garden planted around the entrance. Others still claim to hear of wonderous things coming from within the caverns, glorious melodious on hypnotically beautiful vocals, capable of catching anyone who hears it dead still.

Only a few things are for certain though. One is her seeming obsession with something lying beneath the waves. When she is out and about, usually in the dead of night, others will see her trotting across the beach with her shell jewelry, usually dragging things washed up from the shore, sometimes assisted with two snakes who seem to follow her every command. Secondly, there is no good reason for you to go seek her out. And three, if you simply must go and find her, you better be ready to pay the price.

Fun fact about Tasmanian Devils, they're nocturnal and when they get mad or agitated, their ears will turn bright red. They're also a keystone species in Tasmania, responsible for keeping the ecosystem clean by scavenging on carcasses, and have the strongest bite per body mass of any living mammalian carnivore, capable of biting straight through bone. When first approached with this adopt prompt, I had considered a honey badger, and it definitely would've given her a larger mane of hair, though I think the Tasmanian Devil turned out quite well, did learn a few things about the species and about Ursula's design. Also I did prepare for this by watching several of scenes of her(the original 1989 superior version) and man I forgot just how good a villain she is. Flotsam and Jetsam are now sea kraits(preferably the olive-headed sea snake) in my book here, a bit ironic since sea kraits eat moray eels.

As for how the Little Mermaid would take place here, in Tasmania that is set in the TLK universe... idk. Sure Tasmania is an island and Ursula would probably have no trouble being next to the water and I can definitely see her being the same old witch who will help you with your problems, but be ready to pay, though how mermaids and the love story between Ariel and Eric play out here... Australian sea lions and New Zealand fur seals maybe?

Adopt 1/2 for Mr-Scarlet-Nokitsune . Thank you dear for the requests, I really enjoyed doing Ursula here and am looking forward for the other one. For the rest of you, there is one more adopt on the TLK-Disney Villains Moodboard Adopts ; an Egyptian cobra Jafar. I may do more Disney villains and some Disney heroes adopts in the future as well, and I am open to requests for certain Disney villains/animals, so if you're interested, feel free to reach out.
