Okay. Last big Homestuck piece for a while, I think. This was my first attempt at a wallpaper I made for a special that was essentially "due" on apocalypse day for Ancestor ask blog shenanigans, so, here it is. The Signless and the Disciple dancing in fancy clothes.Oh, I didn't design Signless' outfit. I tried a few times and the results were absolutely horrific on every level, so I asked Zee here to help me out on that front. She's amazingly talented!

I love the shading on Disciple's dress and the flowers in her hair, and the BG is very pretty as well. ^-^
I also just want to say that your askblog for the Signless is one of my favorite Signless askblogs period. I love how you characterize him, very hopeful and idealistic, seeing the best in everyone, but also angry and frustrated at the state of his world and at the trolls who have let it get that way. And while I'm not usually a huge fan of people who make him cuss all the time (I'm of the opinion that, unlike Karkat, he only does it when he's EXTREMELY upset), I like the explanation you gave that he doesn't do it to be vulgar, but to express when he has very strong feelings about something. Also, may I just say that I love it when you explore troll culture and way of life (and how you don't portray all highbloods as self-righteous a-holes; that's refreshing), and how the Dolorosa and Signless make ends meet on a day to day basis? Because I do. 
Anyways, the reason I'm leaving this here is that I don't have a tumblr account, so I just wanted to leave a comment where you'd know who was talking.

Ahh, I was wondering who that anon was! I went into my askbox very exicted to have three new ones and they were all nice questions! Oh wow, that is so sweet of you to say :3 It reinforces the reasons I started doing this silly thing, and such an emotional response is the highest compliment you can pay an artist/author.
Worldbuilding is one of my favorite parts XD It's really encouraging to know other people enjoy that part of it too!

Oh, I think it's fascinating! We get so little information on troll society as it is (at least, I'm assuming so; I'm only a little ways into Act 4 ATM, so I haven't really gotten to know the trolls very well yet), so it's interesting to see people's different takes on them, their world, and their culture.

Hahaha, that awkward moment where I forgot to give credit to the other 50% of the design team. The person who designed her clothes was my "partner" for this project. Her name is Ari.
