Eee, you might have noticed that I love drawing birds.
I love the minute details in the feathers, that's why!This was a project for my Presentation Design 1 class last semester, which I started a year ago. I failed that class for not giving my projects in, but I finally got off my lazy butt and finished it!
I should mention that this project almost blinded me after the x-acto knife's blade's tip broke off and hit my face. O_O Luckly it only hit my forehead, otherwise it could have landed in my eye. ;___; (I was using the knife to make the background.

Nope, it's on white illustration board with blank ink! I used pens, micron pens and paintbrushes. I used the x-actor knife to reveal some white by sratching off the paper. ^^

Be careful next time Evelyn!! I did really admire this when you handed it in!! I can't draw bird... you know... the minute details of the feathers
The only thing that I would comment on is the negative space... it's, erm... please don't take this the wrong way, it looks a wee bit flimsy next to the pretty birdy >_<... myself, I probably would have left the backgroud black.... for a solide contrast...

Chantal (her and Stan were teaching together in PresDes of last year) suggested I do a greyish background. Also I couldn't leave it completely black because of the beak, which is also black.
