Description
A portrait of Richard Armitage.Drawn from a tiny, grainy screencap from the show Spooks, in which he plays an MI5 agent. Awesome, awesome show.
I had fun. Learned a lot and listened to a bunch of audiobooks during the process.
It was mostly done in the beginning of December 2009.
I don't want to say I'm proud of it... but I sort of am.

It's kind of amusing though - RA's worried about being typecast in action roles? I'd worry more about names: I believe this is the 6th character whose name is John!

Well John is a rather common name. It gives a character certain ambiguity which makes you go "aha!" when they do something amazing

Ah...that explains why I go "Aha!" so much when I watch RA in anything
It also has the annoying downside for the fan watching a few different shows back-to-back....if you're not paying attention (erm, to the plot. I think it's pretty unanimous we pay attention to the guy himself ^_~) it ends up in a "Wait, which John??" situation XD

I love the hazy mood~
It's very well shaded and done but some parts feel slightly like a relief rather than fully in 3-dimension & the bottom lip may be too thin
It's a strong capture of a character and still very realistic - amazing overall>o<~!!!

And YEAH about the title... I actually had the title for this piece since I started painting it and then while I was typing it in I was like... wait a minute! Not only does it go with this picture but it is also a delicious drink that is made out of happiness and rainbow marshmallows!
Point is.. Richard Armitage is as tasty as Earl Grey tea with steamed milk.
