Description
OMG I AM DONE
I never thought I'd ever finish this.
IT'S ACTUALLY DONEEEEEEE !!!
First of all: If you think about doing a realistic piece, DON'T ! It is harder than it looks like and is awful. Btw this was my first time grayscaling.
Cell shading is way more relaxing, I don't know why I even went realistic.
Well, the cross country entry has been torturing me since July 2013. I usually planned to make this my entry weidenhof.deviantart.com/art/P… but I hated it. That's why I started a new pic
WHS Martini weidenhof.deviantart.com/art/Y… and Julia Caine at the Australian Olympics AUSe-Olympics in 3 DE, Class XC.
The journal says that we should show our horse at an obstacle, this is a river and I think it counts as obstacle too, also because he just jumped into it.
I could have added way more details but I just don't want to anymore.
*dies*
STORY:
It was sunny. That was a rare occasion since it had been raining for hours before. The grass and the trees were wet and so were Julia and Martini (Sorry to break in here but the whole sentence sounds.... wrong).
They reached a quite big but slowly flowing river. The sun was shining and the whole scenery was being illuminated by a golden light. The two approached the next obstacle.
Martini, not knowing that there was a river behind it, jumped the obstacle and found himself being in water.
He was shocked as he felt the ground under his feet not being hard at all. Julia facepalmed. Really, how often had they exercised this. The stallion stumbled around until he finally regained the control over his legs.
He neighed in protest and Julia just laughed. Martini immediately switched into "grumpy mode" and refused to walk on.
He only continued because his rider told him that reaching a good place would help him to impress the mares. That was by far the most convincing argument Julia could come up with when it was about getting him back into normal mode again.
It all went well, though Martini wanted to eat a big willow's branches that almost touched the water. Julia, who already saw that coming, was able to prevent him from doing that.
He reacted quite huffily. It was so delicious. Stupid humans.
On the last 100 metres, Julia just let the reins long and let her stallion run. Martini showed off. He had some arabian and thouroughbred antecendants.
The stallion stretched himself and they crossed the finish line at the speed of light. Julia was barely able to stop him then.
