"Hey.." SilentStripe mewed, his icy blue eyes glowing.

WhisperingShadows looked over at Silentstripe with a smile and a wave of her tail.

He smiled back, which was strange for him to do. But then he sighed, and kept saying what he was going to say. "WhisperingShadows, I know that you..have..a..'crush'.. on me.. and that's fine and all, i'm ok with that.. but.." He unsheathed his claws and dug them into the ground. "I'm not sure what my feelings for you are yet. I know you're mute, and that just makes it harder for me to...love.. you.. don't take this in a bad way, please, but I'm just unsure about my feelings for you. You're a very pretty and kind she cat, but it's hard for me to get to know you if you can't speak. I'm sorry, WhisperingShadows." He got up, and quickly padded out of camp, his eyes filling with tears. "I wish I could have done that another way.." he mumbled to himself as he exited the camp.

Worriment filled WhisperingShadow's green eyes as she sighed her tail dropping and her ear flating as she sighed.

SilentStripe stopped dead in his tracks. What have I done? he asked himself, blinking. Im.. crying over a she cat I have no.. he stopped mid thought. I..do have feelings for her.. He ran back to camp, jumping over fallen logs, and sliding in the mud. Rain began to pour, as he made it to the camp entrance. He padded through, now soaked. He walked right up to WhisperingShadows, and stared into her eyes. "I'm sorry. I do have feelings for you.." He mewed looking down at his muddy paws, embarrassed. "I knew right away when I..teared up.. after I left the camp.."

Whisperingshadows looked back and smiled with a big loud purr. Then wrapping her tail around Silentstripe.

He purred. he then stood up, not minding the still pouring rain. "Want to go on a walk?" He asked, blinking.

SilentStripe padded over to the camp entrance, making sure WhisperigShadows was following him. When She was behind him, he ran into the forest, jumping over logs and sliding in the mud. He finally made it to a clearing, where he sat down.

Whisperingshadow's followed then sitting next to him, wrapping her tail around him again with a purr.

He Wrapped his tail around her as well, and purred. He nuzzled her cheek, before licking it.

he purred back, and smiled. The rain stopped pouring, and was now just drizzling. "Want to go hunting?" SilentStripe mewed, standing up.

He then padded silently, into the bushes. He kept walking until he stopped and tasted the air. He noticed a mouse nibbling on a nut near some tree roots, and crouched down to catch it. He silently padded towards it, then pounced, landing on it squarely and killing it with a nip to the back of the throat. He put some mud over it to cover it.

She nodded and sniffed to see a squirrel ran down a tree, the followed it then, her ear twitch as she leaped and dig her clan into its neck killing it.
