That is really unusual to use such warm oranges for siren, but it looks really great like this!
You made right side of background darker what very well puts watcher's attention to left side of the piece. And you didn't use only low saturated ochre on background, but also burnt orange. It all together gives very interesting impression of "underwater sunset", what is intriguing in it's antinomy.
I like her very thin ragged tail, it looks for me a bit like skeleton of tail or fin with parasite disase, what add her interesting story "why? what happend?" (or maybe that's just me, who see everywhere death, blood and diseases, especially last time >__>...), anyway I like her like this. In my opinion sickness or injure add to character some special depth. Character doesn't need antagonist then, he is the one for himself. Fighting sickness can be more interesting and inspirating that standing against a vilian who want to conquer a world. Sirens always are beautiful, with their beauty they "do their job" deceiving sailors. But "damaged" siren is not beautiful any longer, she becomes useless... what else the siren can do? What else she'd like to do? I like asking such questions and creating stories by trying to answer them ^_______^.

Underwater sunset, I like that
The idea of the hidden worlds beneath the surface of water intruigs me.
Sometimes I dream of everything being under water, places that are known to me.
I do not have to worry about air, I can just drift and swim. Up or down doesn't matter, no corners unreachable through height or gravity.
And light is different too 
If you look up the meaning of water in dreams then terms as spirituality and subconscious come up. What lies beneath the surface ...
I think subconscious is that what it is because letting it get in plain sight might be to confronting and energy draining to keep in awareness.
It hides the twisted knots that you got all tangled up inside.
In my mind I'd say that is her 'sickness', as a creature from those depths

Would be amazing to create such world together
Underwater world is so quiet, so calm, as if in slow-motion. Seems somehow more natural for human (I know it sounds weird, but that's how I felt when I was scubadiving in sea)... It's darker, somehow safer. Safer than the world outside. Underwater world is a place where human can "fly". Just thinking about I feel that I really miss it.
Seems that world of Air - symbolical logic and inteligence - was made by human's brains, while the world of Water - symbolical emotions and subconscious was made of human's heart. Still are missing worlds of Fire and of Earth... sounds like an invitation to universe creation
