Description
This is the South Falls at Silver Falls in Oregon State. It is one of 10 falls in the area. It falls 177 ft. It was so beautiful on this day with all the frozen water and huge iciles. On this day the path was closed that goes behind the falls becuase it was frozen over. Here is a link from a trip I took in better weather from behind the falls.[link]Related content

Well the local pheasant gruop is wanting a pen and ink to auction at their uncoming dinner. So that is my main focus right now other then DA

I feel like I am just mucking about, to use an English term. I get lucky every now and then but I do not really get it! I guess it must be the middle of winter blues, becasue I try not to moan and whine!! Give me a day and I will be back to

Well Loretta, I have an idea ! pick one of the of the grouse pictures, do a pen sketch of it, 16" X 20". Frame it up.. put it in the gift shop as a sample.. and let people know that print copies are available.... Fathers day is coming up and it would be a great gift for some Dad to receive...you might even visit a local sporting goods or gun shop and put one up there also...if you promote it right, you could really do well with this plan

Very nice Loretta. This is an interesting time of year to shoot waterfalls. There's one in NY that I might try to get to this weekend but they close the trails to it in the winter, we'll see.

yes getting there can be a challenge sometimes. I was telling another DA friend that the pool freezes over at least once a year, and that would one great shot! But I do not have the rig to get up thoses roads in ice and 2 ft of snow
