UPDATE June 4th 2019: I gave Chihiro's hero suit a small redesign because the previous design didn't sit right with me. Made it a bit simpler and removed a bunch of exhausts and LED lights. I also tossed in a casual wear bonus.

Physical Appearance:
Chihiro’s mercury influences the colors of her body and gives everything a grey hue. Her eyes, sclera (eye white) and lips are silver grey while her skin is pasty pale with a grey hue. Her hair consists out of mercury which forms itself as a bob haircut with side swept bangs and bangs which follow the curve of her cheekbones. Due to the mercury’s mass and constant movement, it makes her “hair” look wavy. Her body shape is slender and somewhat curvy, like her hips and thighs. She is always seen wearing a black bodysuit (non-hero) which covers her whole body except for her face and the top of her head. Her choice for casual clothing are usually shorts with a single color top and a short-sleeved jacket or hoodie, comfortable shoes included. Her bodysuit is worn underneath her clothing.

Personality:
Chihiro is an observant but quiet girl with a neutral disposition. She prefers to “think before acting” and tries to see and/or consider all options in a situation to go with the best outcome. This makes her a calculated person with a serious edge who prefers routine in her life, though she doesn’t depend on it as she is able to handle unexpected changes and improvise if needed.

She is trusting, open, and approachable but her Quirk and past experiences involving fear towards her Quirk make her cautious and somewhat withdrawn towards others. Because of this, she tends to keep herself in the background when she isn’t needed for anything, allowing others to approach her when they feel comfortable to do so. This shouldn’t be mistaken for her being shy or a lone wolf, however. She is quite sociable and loves to hang out with friends and be there for them. With friends, she remains a little reserved and careful but she is a warm presence who likes to have a good time with everyone else. She isn’t a stranger to giving gifts and celebrating the smallest things, often bringing sweet snacks to school for her classmates and friends for whatever reason.

When angry or disappointed, she can become rather sassy and sarcastic and her attacks receive an aggressive edge. She tries not to be rude but it can slip through when in a bad mood. She will always apologize afterwards if aware she hurt someone’s feelings with her behavior, mostly with a small gift like a card, candy or a keychain depending on the person she apologizes to.

Description: Thanks to consisting mostly out of mercury, Chihiro can turn into a puddle, slip through narrow cracks and stretch herself (limited), including shapeshifting to form herself or any of her limbs into objects, weapons (blade or blunt weapons) or another person. Copying another's appearance isn't successful as she remains in mercury state (silvery) and cannot adapt to the correct colors of the person she copied.

Her mercury is poisonous and as a precaution shouldn’t be touched anywhere which isn't covered by her bodysuit and/or clothing. During crisis while still attending school, she is not allowed near any injured civilians and/or schoolmates to prevent further injury. The risk is lower when wearing her hero suit.

Her bodysuit regulates her temperature, helps her contain her original shape and protects others from accidental (methyl)mercury poisoning. Extremely low or high temperatures are her weakness and can immobilize her. When the LED lights on her hero suit glow blue, her temperature is kept below room temperature. When glowing orange, her bodysuit's temperature is quite high to prevent her from growing too dense or turning solid during extremely low temperatures. The exhausts on her hero suit emit puffs of steam during high-temperature cycles.

Weaknesses:

- Limited stretching and shaping (cannot produce more mass than already available).
- Can’t swim or float in water; will always sink to the bottom.

Background and History
Born as a regular baby in Minato City, Chihiro’s quirk kicked in when she was four years old. This was a shocking and horrifying occurrence for her parents rather than a happy one as she started to liquify out of nowhere and nearly poisoned them with the toxic vapors she emitted. Out of desperation, her mother used her ice-based Quirk on her toddler daughter to keep her cool but the problem of Chihiro being unable to keep her form remained. Because she was a danger to everyone in her near surroundings, Chihiro was confined to her modified room (air conditioning and freezer elements) for little more than a year while her parents sought for a solution. She was also kept from going to school during that year, one of the reasons as to why she is a year older than most of her fellow classmates.

A solution was found with the creation of a bodysuit which regulates Chihiro’s temperature, keeps her original form intact and allows her to interact with others. Chihiro’s parents moved from Minato City to Musutafu to live nearby the creators of the suit in case of repairs, replacements or adjustments. After acquiring the suit, Chihiro could finally go to school and make friends though it proved to be quite a challenge due to the dangerous nature of her Quirk.

Out of respect for U.A.’s aid in providing assistance with controlling her Quirk when she was a toddler, Chihiro was determined to attend U.A. when able. Her initial course of action was to sign up for the Support course but she changed her mind and signed up for the Heroes courses instead, wanting to aid civilians and make them feel safe while making the most out of her Quirk.

Family
Mother: Noriko is a stay-at-home mother who works from home as a secretary and accountant for a small family business run by an old friend of hers. Although her Quirk is all about controlling ice, she is temperamental and loud, but she is so with love. Her ice Quirk has helped her daughter in many situations and it formed a very tightly knit relationship between them.
Father: Kosei is a loving father with a subdued and quiet personality, though is very friendly and hospitable to anyone. His Quirk is steel orientated, granting him the ability to form a steel suit of armor or partially harden his hands and arms into steel. He works in construction.
Friends

Saori Hoshino : Saori was the first friend Chihiro made after she and her parents moved to Musutafu and was finally able to attend school. She considered Saori her bestie and played a lot with her until her friend circle grew a little larger. Although the time they spend together has grown less over the years, they are still close and can often be seen together during classes or the weekends.:

Ursula Miro (by Aki-Dokii ): Ursula may be a year above Chihiro but they get along well enough even though they got a Quirk based rivalry going due to the similarities (but also the differences!) between their Quirks. Ursula is someone Chihiro can learn from, mostly because of the experience Ursula has in the hero course, though she refuses to be outmatched or intimidated by Ursula's "Metal" Quirk.

When she shapeshifts, her bodysuit becomes a part of her mercury while other clothing stays intact. She might lose pieces of clothing (like her school uniform) aka get undressed during liquefaction.
She finds Mezo Shoji the most interesting of all her classmates but does not dare to pursue him due to the downsides of her Quirk. She keeps her crush quiet and secret to avoid facing the problem. I think he kinda knows? Not sure.
If Eraser Head uses his Quirk on her, she’ll liquify into a puddle.
She can still communicate when liquified.
