Description
This is a world buried in strife
Where we deny the creation of all the wonders in our life
Our children are the window to tomorrow
But our phones and toys are their sorrow

We spend more hours in personal satisfaction
While they search for our love to their distraction
They learn what is important by what we hold in our hands

And we see them fade away as small pieces of sand
Washed ashore alone, left to fend for themselves

While we hide our hearts from them like Christmas elves.
