Any advice on how to make any of my characters more adorable or colorful is welcome~ 💗

Nại (mum) saw how massive my new XP-Pen 22 screen tablet was, and now she loves to check on my drawings every now and then. I was surprised that she referred to Kubu as a "he" (haven't told her Kubu is my sona), because I know most believe Kubu is a shy, petite dragon girl~! 🐲

She also believed Kubu was holding something, but in reality I envisioned Kubu to be sitting and admiring someone, like what Ru is doing in the bottom panel of this comic page , or what Sakura Haruno is doing here :
