Looks like the Martians have arrived.Β This has such a wonderful feel of the movie(s), "War of the Worlds."Β Seems, though, there's a calmness in this image...Β the seagulls flying around its legs like it's part of the scenery, and the woman watching it from the distance, wondering when it'll leave her world forever.Β So, perhaps the aliens arrived on the planet some time ago and this particular unit has been posted over the city to maintain surveillance and control over the inhabitants.
Love your attention to detail to include the drifting of her hair in the wind, the ripples in the water, and the cloud cover surrounding the alien war machine.Β She looks like the young woman you often draw with a rather large motorcycle...Β she always looks quite confident and comes across as if she has a game plan for everything.Β Perhaps she has plans for ridding her home world of these pesky invaders.
