I see the blood on her back and instantly think: fallen angel. The title makes me think she did something awful, something sinful, and lost her blessed wings as punishment. It's interesting to see some of the skeletons also have wings on the background mural. The pair of skeletons up in the right-hand corner kind of look like that famous painting of touching fingertips with god. The Creation of Adam, I think it was called. I like the serpent slithering up one side as it usually represents the temptation to sin as in the case of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. I like all the subtle messages. It's a fantastic piece.

Ahhhh this picture. I love it so much. I remember first seeing it on youtube with the song Rise by Katy Perry, Cover by Boyce Avenue. I think it got taken down. It was really an amazing piece for a nightcore to me though...

This masterpiece .. because you can only call it that, is what made me fall inlove with the artist. Although I've read the whole ghostblade in a day, I wish I knew the story behind this drawing. I've read through the comments and someone said exactly how I felt. "It feels alive". This is true, each skeleton and angel seems to have some character to it. It's truly amazing.Β
