The Light: So I heard. What is this all about?

S. Ross: We've been cautious of the Guardians for quite some time now, but the actions of Umbramancer as of late have cast quite a bit of doubt as to whether certain members can truly be trusted.
S. Nelson: To put it bluntly, we believe that your leash isn't tight enough.

The Light: So I gathered. May I ask, what is it you suggest I do?

S. Nelson: Relieve him.
S. Ross: At least until further notice--
S. Nelson: No, permanently. He's become too much of a liability to be trusted.

The Light: If I may ask, what makes you think that I will take this advice of yours?

S. Nelson: He attacked a government official, which we could have him arrested for. Not to mention, I doubt his adoption is legally binding. And even if it were, you could still be found guilty of child endangerment simply for sending him into life-threatening situations. Since you seem to be ineffective as a parent, we could potentially send him back to his original parents after he's served his sentence.

The Light: Would that really stop him? You've seen what he can do, if he wanted he could just come back to me without even trying. There would be nothing his parents could do to stop him. I doubt they would even care.

S. Ross: We've managed to get in contact with them. While it took some time, we managed to convince them that their son was indeed alive, just different. They've agreed to try taking him back in.

The Light: They have? That's surprising.

S. Ross: They were reluctant at first, but they do want to see their son again.
S. Nelson: Which is why I suggest you take our offer and relieve him. It will save time, resources, and unnecessary risks on both his and your parts.

The Light: That choice will entirely be his own.

S. Nelson: *Clenches her fists* With all due respect, he's a minor. Legally, is decision is invalid. Not to mention, he's on the verge of being arrested.

The Light: Your right, I'm not. Fine then, if Bryan is to go back to his parents than so be it. But I can assure you Senator Nelson, it won't last long.

S. Ross: As a reminder, the deal was simply to relieve him as a Guardian. Giving him to his parents was just if you refused to comply.
S. Nelson: *Begrudgingly stands down* Right, I remember.

S. Ross: Well once again, thank you for meeting us, Ms. Light. I know this may be difficult for you, but we believe that it's for the best.
S. Nelson: *Scoffs under her breath*

WOLFBLADE111 In reply to BryanTheBomb [2018-09-19 02:19:36 +0000 UTC]
The Light: Senator Nelson & Ross believe you are becoming to uncontrollable due to your actions and they feel that I am not setting enough restrictions. Also, due to your official age you have no say in the matter. It's either I pull you from missions or, they send you back to your birth parents.

Me: *My mind is too far into the memory to hear Light. Suddenly, I hear a loud BANG in my head and I break into panicked sobs, struggling in Lightβs arms.*
