A very beautiful photo. I am re-reading the "Sharpe" series; soooo...my mind provided a column of French infantry appearing out of this mist. Strange thought, no?

Thank you for the comment, I can imagine your infantry line also. In reality the fields in the picture are very close to where the battle of Bosworth took place and where king Richard III died in the conclusion of the war of the roses so a column of troops may have passed over this very spot.
