Cool piece for sure! Had to take forever to carve Like Alice I don't have any idea what a 'focus' is though Doesn't mean I don't find it cool though

Oh, Alice (my mom!) knows... She's just trying to get me to come up with a good explanation. This isn't the best wording, but here's a start:As I mention in the description, it's a meditation focus. Sorta like the way some religions use chains of beads to keep track of a number of prayers, or others use images to guide meditation or prayer. The idea here is that if you have something to focus on it is easier to meditate, and spirals are used by many faiths and philosophies for meditation and contemplation. With it's mobius-like single surface, you can run your fingers over it endlessly, so it's very easy to use it to clear your mind. In addition, pendulums are used in both meditation and divination, so the chain has an extra use. (Do ask questions if that didn't clear it up completely!)

Glad ya like it! hehe, I notice most of my watchers don't seem to know what to say about this one. Lots of favs, but surprisingly few comments. I honestly expected a few "what the heck is it for?" questions, but nope!

maybe you should explain just what a "focus" is??

Trying to think of a good way to explain that without sounding pedantic...

Beautiful workmanship. (I know that some artists hate hearing this but I swear I mean no offense: if I had the resources I would totally buy this from you )

Thanks! And no, I totally understand, and appreciate the compliment as intended. I do accept payment plans, though they have to either be via money order or paypal with a slight upcharge to cover my increased fees from multiple transactions, and anything paid in would be non-refundable if canceled. So you could pay for something like this $10 to $20 at a time, and it would ship when the last payment arrived. Yes, I'm broke as hell too, and really do understand not being able to afford nice stuff when I want it.

You are very welcome ... I'm gonna have to do that then (and get you some more money )

Note me if you want to set that up for this particular piece or something else I have available. I can also do that for commissions, where I start work when the last payment is made.
