about a month into us living in Fayetteville, Arkansas I was hired as a shift leader for the brand new Chēba Hut that was in the works for their grand opening.

original training week was to begin May 6th through the 12th, then Opening day May 13th. Yet Marisol, the manager, realized that the majority of her hires were college students, and the University of Arkansas graduation was on the 11th.

To accommodate that new training week was to begin the 12th through the 18th with Opening Day on May 20th.

The week before training week, I was let go from my catering gig. I worked every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at J.B. Hunt Headquarters in Lowell, Arkansas with Mermaids Seafood Restaurant. I was extremely bummed out about it because I relied on that job for pay every week to hold me over until I began my full-time gig with Chēba Hut. My husband and I were apartment hunting in the middle of this, too!

so upon being let go and not having a home set in stone, we had to make a hard decision to move back to Arizona. I hit off with Marisol so well that the day before we scheduled to pick up our Penske truck in Fayetteville, Arkansas, I painted this heart magnet as a grand opening gift for Marisol and Going Away Present from me!... so I texted her to arrange to meet her at The Hut and I had her close her eyes and place her hands out in front of her. I then placed this painting face up in the palm of her hands and told her, " Okay! you can open them now!"

She was so happy and impressed... said she was going to display this on the bars mini refrigerator.
