"Rai," She called for him.

"Yes?" He answered promptly.

"Come here."

It was night, and the two were sitting beside each other, nuzzling against each other's fur as they sat under the faint moonlight, watching the stars.

"Do you enjoy what you see?" Nicole placed a paw on his right eye out of amusement, trying to identify him.

"Always. Why do you ask, Mistress?" Rai held her paw with his own and closed his right eye, still sensitive.

"You are always a different person when you're with me." She smirked, drawing no reaction out from the Jolteon, however.

"Perhaps I always was a different person when I'm with you." Rai smiled, closing both of his eyes and letting go her paw. "After all, I only can, and only will have so many masks to wear."

"Then why don't you take it off then?" The female Charmeleon asked. "No need to be fake around me."

The Jolteon turned her head towards him for him to lean in and give her a kiss on the lips. "That answer your question?"

She stopped and thought about it for a second, then laughed and gave the Jolteon a playful, gentle punch in the chest. "No it doesn't, jerk."
