Six miles deep into the jungle,I found you.
You were there,
So weak and cold;

Five hours into the fog,
I lost you.
You disappeared,
So scared and helpless;
I tried to find you,
And you tried to find me.
But we were there.
Four members all together,
We two celebrated.
That night,
So sacred and peaceful;
I held your hand,
And you held my hand.
And we were here.
Three Errands down,
You gently smiled.
You said,
"We're one step closer to our goal."
I kissed your lips,
and you kissed me back.
And we are here.
Two more.
Errands, missions, friends.
You smiled,
A different way;
I gave you my heart,
You gave me back.
And I was here.

Alone.
Nothing. No one. Null.
Tears dried,
You died;
You tried to save me,
I couldn't save you back.

And you were here.

Sometimes,
I want to stay.
