Christmas Special, Nel x Raiken- We Wish you a Shota Christmas! Part 2

The Serperior skillfully juggled the ingredients with his vines, holding the jar with the hot chocolate in a vine, tiramisu powder holder in another, and a few marshmallows in a third. Hot chocolate came first into the two cups that had been previously prepared, marshmallows came next and the powder was sprinkled nicely onto the marshmallows. The grass serpent gently pushed the two cups of warmup beverage towards the Zoroark, to which he caught just perfectly and set it onto his tray, leaving the counter for the two Jolteons waiting on the table.

"Alright, and here's your drink." Diminuendo set the two cups of hot chocolate in front of the two, smiling and bowing once he's done, and strut across the café to attend to another table.

"Enjoy~! Café ShotaLoli's all-time favourite drink: the Hot Chocolate!" Raiken giggled and pulled his drink close to him, sipping it from the top.

"W-Why aren't you working today?" Nel tilted his head after looking around the vicinity. "From what I see, today's customers aren't lacking in numbers..."

"They can manage, I'm sure of it." Rai blushed slightly, looking down. "P-Plus, i-it'd be embarrassing to see you looking at me when I'm wearing a maid suit..."

"P-Pfft, I didn't know you do that!" The green-eyed Jolteon covered his muzzle with his paws, puffs of air escaping his mouth as he laughed. "W-Well, I guess you're not the only one who had to wear it..."

"W-Wait, y-you mean- you? Too?"

"Y-Yeah... it was... sort of a punishment for getting caught in a mission..." He started to blush as well, fiddling with his paws as he tried to find a way to explain without it getting awkward. "I-It was pretty stupid, yeah..."

"H-Haha...I guess so..." Raiken, while looking at Nel, was suddenly reminded of something. "O-Oh yeah, Nel,"

"Y-Yes?"

"Where's Nir? I thought she was always with you?"

"Hmph-" Nel puffed up his cheeks, looking slightly disappointed. "She's probably with Boney again, somewhere...N-Nir always ditches me when Boney comes to visit her!"

"A-Ahaha, and I thought she was the 'Ice Queen'? S-Speaking of which, where's Sozor when Boney's gone to Nir's place?"

Nel shrugged. "Dunno... maybe with Fier?"

"H-Huh... Where could they go?"

"Sozor wanders around the place all the time... She literally can't stay still for like a few hours..."

"Pfft, yeah... Anyways, how's your guild doing? Been participating in missions?"

"Hmm... No, not really..."

"Eh?"Rai tilted his head,slightly confused. "W-Why? I thought you were eager when you once joined the Guild!"

"Yeah, and that eagerness kind of...died out over the missions, and now I feel like me and Nir has that much of an interest in doing Guild related things now..." Nel sighed and sipped his cup, puffing out clouds of air in relief. "I guess we still wanna help people...maybe drop in for a few Errands or something, I dunno..."

"You're not thinking of retiring from the Guilds, are you?" Raiken frowned a little at the news, ears flopping down.

"W-Well...yes, actually... but not anytime soon." Nel, soon noticing the Jolteon's little frown, smiled in reassurance at him and patted the his head, giggling. "Don't worry about me, alright? It's probably for the better."

"R-Right, eheh..." Raiken blushed and purred a little, his frown replaced by a gentle smile. "Anyways, let's get going, I have a place I wanna-"

"Hmm...?"

The Jolteon paused in his words, looking at the entrance for a brief second before ducking under the table.

"R-Rai, you okay!?"

"Shhhh!!" The Jolteon pointed towards the door of the café with his left paw, covering his muzzle with his right paw, gesturing the other Jolteon to be quiet. 'If he asks anything about me, just say you don't know, okay?"

"H-Huh? U-Umm, alright...?" Nel was confused, but even more nervous and concerned about the Jolteon. The Mudkip already made his way towards the table where they are located, and saw the green-eyed Jolteon instantly as opposed to the heterochromic one.

"Rai!" The Mudkip, as soon as he saw the shota Jolteon, glomped him and nuzzled his neck, giggling. "There you are, my love~"

"E-Ehh!?" Nel blushed intensely, pushing the Mudkip away. "W-What are you doing, Mudkip!?"

"H-Huh? But you are my love? How can you not know me?" The Water-Type tilted his head, confused as to the Jolteon's reaction. His love doesn't remember him? How could he? "R-Rai, did ya not remember me?"

"I-I'm not Rai! W-Why did you think I'm him!?"

"W-Wha-" The Mudkip immediately took a step back and looked at the Jolteon in front of him. Upon inspection, the fish realized that not only the Jolteon does not have a scar, but his(her...?) eyes are also green instead of red and purple. His eyes widened as he realized how much stupid he must've looked when he suddenly hugged the Jolteon that was not his partner. "I-I'm sorry! I didn't mean to hug ya, I thought-"

His explanation was cut off, however, by giggles from under the table. Curious, he flipped the table cloth that was covering the bottom of the table and revealed the real Jolteon- the one he was looking for.

"Gotcha Akatsuki~!" Rai winked and jumped out to hug his lover, which was a little angry yet happy at the sight of Rai.

"R-Rai, that's not funny!" Akatsuki pouted a little, folding his paws together but still broke into a giggle afterwards. "Also, who's her?"

"A-Ahh, it's a him, actually, and his name is Nel!" Rai smiled warmly and turned to the other Jolteon. "I-I hope Akatsuki didn't scare you too much! Also sorry for letting you in on this small prank, heheh..."

"O-Oh... I guess it's alright, ahaha..." Nel placed a paw on Rai's head, rubbing it gently and making Rai purr. "Guess you got a cute boyfriend, Akatsuki..."

"S-Shut up, Nel... you're also cute, b-baka" Rai started to blush a little more as he saw the Mudkip beside him smirk mischievously.

"Hehe, well I certainly hoped that you both could be my partners~" He stuck his tongue out, naughty.

Rai puffed up his cheeks and stared at Akatsuki with half-lidded eyes. "晓，你再这样我就不买礼物送你了！"

"E-Ehhhhhhh!?? 哪有这样的啊！"

"就是这样！" Rai pouted and winked at Akatsuki before taking Nel's hand and rushed out of the cafeteria, leaving Akatauki behind.

"W-Wha-" The Mudkip immediately took a step back and looked at the Jolteon in front of him.
