General Task 1

Guilds briefing, as usual. All of the teams were gathered, briefed then debriefed and free to carry out their respective tasks. Some, like the Lucario and Rotom close to them- Max and Wesley, Rai vaguely remembered their name was-, were very quick in setting their minds on certain objectives. The Jolteon saw then walk by immediately after the briefings were dismissed, so he just assumed that they knew what they were doing.

Some others however, like Rai and the lot, was still pondering on whether they should complete which task first. A shy Aron, paired with a Snivy with a scar on his left eye was seen discussing something, to which the Jolteon had no interest in listening or knowing...Not that he could hear them from that far, anyways.

'Argh, why am I even looking at the other teams...' Raiken gave himself a mental knock on the head. 'Let's just focus on ourselves now...'

Guild Tasks or General Tasks, that's...quite the hard choice. They all wanted their contribution towards their Guilds, but at the same time, wanted the recruitment slip as well. The possibility of recruiting a new teammate was too much of a chance to not be missed or taken out of consideration.

"Ugh...I-I'm really scared that we're not able to complete all of the tasks at the same time..." The Jolteon clutched his head, shaking it left and right, seemingly in a trauma. Cres had to kneel down and keep him calm, whilst asking the others about any suggestions.

"Why don't we do what we used to? We split up for each tasks." Dee placed a claw below his chin, gently rubbing it as he spoke up. "I'm sure we can all sort this out."

"U-Uhh...W-What about the order!? General or Guild's first?" Rai stood up, holding onto Cres' legs as he did.

"General." Soulless said simply, eyes showing a slight hint of determination, which Cres and Dee both noticed. To be honest... They hadn't seen Soulless so... committed towards a mission by the guilds, and this definitely was a first. Probably because that they didn't know him that well, because Rai was totally overlooking that.

"General it is, then." The Zoroark reached a paw behind his hair, tugging into it and moved around, finding something. His search didn't last long as he pulled out what seemed like a piece of paper and handed to Raiken. "Take a look at the menu. The party is tomorrow night, so we don't get lots of time to practice our culinary skills. It's better to pick one out of the menu and specialize in it."

"Hmm..." The electric fox took the menu and trailed a paw down the list, stopping at what seemed to be a cup filled with Salac Juice, the name was exactly that. His eyes immediately lit up upon reading the description for the dish. "I-I'll take this one!"

"The Salac Berry Juice?" Cres narrowed her eyes, staring at the Jolteon. "You just wanna get off with the easiest item on the menu, isn't it?"

"H-Hey! Squeezing juices out of these berries are no easy work, a-and it's not like they have a blender or something!" The Jolteon pouted and rebutted, puffing up his cheeks and folding his paws. "A-Also, I love those juices, okay!?"

"More like the wi-" Dee was about to finish his sentence when Rai quickly covered up his mouth, preventing him from talking anymore.

"I-I'll do more than prepare those juices!" Raiken blushed intensely, letting Dee go when he nodded, unamused. "I-I'll also be serving drinks along with bartending on the barbecue night!"

"Alright, sounds fine..." The Lucario finally nodded, though still a little suspicious. She then turned to the others, wondering what they'd be doing.

"Patrol." Came from Nameless and nothing else.

Soulless pointed a paw lazily at the Shinx as he moved away from the group, supposedly carrying out his task immediately. He followed shortly after.

"That leaves us." Cres sighed, looking at her partner.

Dee shrugged, looking back at her.

"I know you're gonna help with the kitchen, so we'll split then." She said, knowing him.

"Fair enough." The two muttered under their breaths before splitting up.

Raiken followed Dee into the kitchen.
