Hello.This anatomy study is not my original work.
I copied this from a 'Drawing Human Anatomy' book i purchased.
So all credit gos to the artist of the book for the original study.
I copied this for anatomy practice purposes.
Please note that my scanner does not pick up 100% of the pencil rendering.

Its either, Drawing Human Anatomy by Giovanni Civardi 'or' The Nude by Giovanni Civardi. Not sure wich one off the top of my head. All of his book are GREAT! Wonna get better at drawing? Buy his books.

i so wish i had a book on anatomy. ive been annoying my parents for one, and to be honest i wont stop asking them till i get one, i can't be bothered getting it myself because i'm saving up for something else.(:
in the meantime can i use your study as a reference.
hopefully i can score a book for Xmas.

Hm, im no expert... I have a lot to learn my self... Just study real anatomy... Dont think drawing in manga style will give you good anatomy skills because it dont... Its the other way round. Once you learn real anatomy you'll draw better manga/stylised pictures alot better!
Try to see every curve, angel, shape and detail of the body... When drawing a person dont just asume a common shape for say the head for e.g. try to draw the exact shape of THAT persons head since everyone is different... This applies to ALL parts of the body.
I suggest buying how to anatomy books too... I have tons of them and the've all helped me ALOT! ^ ^

This is very nice! The human body is an interesting thing.
Also my first thought when i saw this was "whoa, thats totally bruce lee"

I agree, he did 3 books... Human Anatomy (the one i have) and apart from like 2 portaits all the studys are of men...
On the back page it shows a preview of the other 2 books and one is drawing the male body and one is drawing the female body.
So he basic anatomy book hes basicly based it all on male studys.
This kind of put me off buying it but i got it because its such a good book and worth buying dispite the fact it only has male studys in it.
I now have more anatomy books and all the others i have contain both male and female studys.
