As a book project in my English class, we had several objectives. One of these requirements included creating an alternate title for our book. I chose the novel "Stargirl" because of its message especially; it highlighted the issue of conformity in an Arizona High School where everyone is afraid to stand out. The new girl in town breaks that code and becomes an overnight sensation and the narrator Leo falls in love with her but has a hard time breaking from his conformity--this is why he is still partially colorless. This is an easy, but great read; I hope you enjoy!
