This has been sitting in my computer for ages, until I finally finished it yesterday.So....who'd you like to win the fight?
Oh, the white wolf is the same guy from "Cold" yellow-eyes.deviantart.com/artβ¦
Done in Photoshop CS3 with a wacom tablet.
EDIT:
Fixed the brown wolf's eye. Hope it looks better now.

I love this painting. The colors and detail are exquisite, and the motion is well done. The wolves are proportioned, detailed and beautiful. Excellent job. My only critique to it is that I feel like the image needs to look like the top wolf is bearing down with more weight. Right now the two wolves are touching, but it's more like their paws are resting, almost hugging, on each other rather than pushing trying to win a fight or prove dominance. That portion stuck out to me as not quite fitting in with the rest of the barely contained dominant violence of the image.

Wow, this is amazing! I first thought this to be a photograph, but it's a painting full with extreme details and textures. The wolves show emotion as real wolves do and it clearly looks like the brown wolf on the top is dominating the white wolf on the bottom. I want to touch the wolves right now due to the 3d look. Once again, breath-taking!
